The Southern Indiana Career & Technical Center (SICTC) serves approximately 800 students from Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, North and South Gibson, and the southern half of Spencer counties and offers 23 courses of study in 10 different career clusters. All of the programs prepare students for high skill, high wage, or high demand careers including 35 of the Hoosier Hot 50 jobs.
The Career Center is identified by the National Research Center for Career and Technical Education as one of the top five secondary career centers in the United States.

Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program

The Advanced Manufacturing Technician (AMT) program blends classroom and lab instruction with onsite experience. The AMT program includes a two-year degree in Advanced Manufacturing Automation Technology that combines cutting-edge curriculum, paid working experience, along with learning highly sought-after business principles and best practices of a world-class manufacturer.
High school students accepted into the RAMP program spend half of their day as employees of AmeriQual, doing hands-on learning of future readiness and technical skills. The other half of the day, students spend in a classroom on-site, mastering skills required to receive their high school diploma. Connections between the classroom content and hands-on work are intentional and focused on developing a strong transferable skill set and technical skills.
