LARGEST SOLAR PARKING CANOPY IN THE U.S. Evansville Regional Airport (EVV) will be home to the largest solar parking canopy installation in the U.S. This project will provide 50% of the terminal’s power and is a testament to EVV’s environmental commitment. EVV continues to be one of the fastest-growing regional airports, bringing nearly 1/2 million people in and out of Greater Evansville annually.

  • Interstate 64 provides East-West access to Louisville, Kentucky, and St. Louis, Missouri. It also provides Interstate connections to points in all directions.
  • Interstate 69 connects Interstate 64 and Indiana 57 to U.S. 41 near Evansville, Indiana.
  • U.S. 41 provides four-lane access North to Chicago, Illinois, and South to Miami, Florida. It connects to the Kentucky Parkway System. It also connects to Interstate 24, which serves Nashville, Tennessee, and Atlanta, Georgia.

Atlas World Group Expanding Evansville Headquarters

Atlas World Group Inc., which is composed of a portfolio of companies that delivers transportation and related services globally through a network of agents and select service partners, announced plans today to expand its Vanderburgh County headquarters. The company will move its international relocation services to Evansville from Seattle while separately forming a new leasing company, AWG Equipment Leasing Inc. to offer competitive financing to its agents and owner-operators. With this growth, the company plans to add up to 75 new jobs in Indiana by the end of 2023.
