Berry Plastics Announces Plans to Relocate Manufacturing Equipment to Indiana Facilities

Today, Berry Plastics announced plans to further optimize production and relocate manufacturing equipment to four of its Indiana manufacturing operations. The project will begin in early 2014 and will result in the addition of more than 330 production jobs, over the next two years, at the Company’s downtown Evansville, Evansville airport, Princeton, and Richmond facilities located within Vanderburgh, Gibson, and Wayne counties in Indiana.

nFLOW Locates in Vanderburgh County

nFLOW Holdings LLC, a startup company in the engine remanufacturing and machining business, announced today the purchase of assets from Wolf Brothers Motorsports and launch of business. nFLOW will remanufacture engines for all terrain vehicles, side by side utility vehicles along with engine components and full engine machining for most style automotive, trucking, agriculture, material lifting and earth moving equipment.

Evansville’s Professional Transportation, Inc. Expands – Adds 100 New Jobs

Professional Transportation, Inc., one of the largest providers of ground transportation services in the United States, announced plans today to expand their headquarters at 3700 Morgan Avenue, creating up to 100 new jobs in Evansville over the next three years. The expansion is a result of the company’s recent acquisition of the Crew Transport division of Coach America, a former competitor.

PGP International chooses Vanderburgh County, Indiana for Sixth U.S. Facility

The Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville is pleased to announce that PGP International will break ground in northern Vanderburgh County today opening their sixth facility in the United States. PGP International is owned by Associated British Foods, a diversified international food, ingredient and retail group with 102,000 employees in 46 countries. PGP evaluated over 45 sites in multiple states before choosing Vanderburgh County for their newest location.
