EnCom Polymers, Inc., a rapidly growing custom compounder of high performance polymers serving multiple industries, announced plans today to expand its headquarters here by integrating volume from out-of-state production locations to Evansville, creating 56 new jobs by 2021. Funded through a community crowdsourcing grant headed, by the Franklin Street Events Association and the Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville, nearly $60,000 was raised to purchase the trolley, affectionately referred to as TED (Trolley of Evansville Districts).
