Common Grounds – ft. Anne Martin

☕️ (June 23) Virtual! Common Grounds: Coffee & ConnectionsThank you Anne Martin, Owner & Curator of Sugar Press Art for sharing the history of artist, Colette Miller's Global Angel Wings Project and the Evansville community's efforts to be a part of this global endeavor. The Global Angel Wings Project started in 2012 with a vision of connecting 'Earth's Angels' thru interactive, graffiti art and has grown into a global movement, inspiring artists around the world. Fun Fact: Colette starts each set of wings on rice paper in her studio and applies the paper to the wall and builds from there. This gives her better control of the paint flow (not fighting gravity) and was the fastest/easiest way to complete the work before it was officially "sanctioned" by patrons.Check out the Angel Wings map here: https://globalangelwingsproject.com/global-angel-wings-mapLearn more about Sugar Press Art: https://sugarpressart.com/Learn more about the artist, Colette Miller: https://colettemiller.com/Grab your morning beverage and enjoy 5-minutes of community goodness!#community #eisforeveryone #swINthistogether #commongrounds
