Self.e Alley and the newest mural underway in it adds extra cheer in downtown Evansville–just in time for the holidays! Mural three is a simple but lively dots design paid for by an Evansville Endowment Fund grant and led by the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP).
“Unlike the first two murals in the alley, the simplicity of mural three places focus on the subject photographing with the mural vs. the art stealing the show” states Abby Elpers, marketing director for E-REP. “Art in Self.e Alley represents the Evansville region well; it’s time to place focus on the people who make our region what it is.”
The yet to-be-named dots mural includes an e in the lower right corner; a nod to the region’s e is for everyone brand. Muralist Michael Smith expects to complete the mural before the end of the week.
Follow the Self.e Alley Instagram or Facebook accounts for progress updates on the mural.
