It’s International Economic Development! 🎉 The Growth Alliance (now operating as E-REP), along with others throughout the state are using this week to promote understanding of the practice and benefits of economic development.

 Business Retention & Expansion Explained: Although new company location announcements tend to receive the most publicity, economic developers not only spend time working to attract new companies to their communities, but they invest most of their time working with companies who have already invested in the community. An economic developer’s primary role is to ensure their existing businesses have the tools and resources they need to be successful.
