In addition to traditional economic development services, our team operates the City of Evansville’s Certified Technology Park, Innovation Pointe, located in downtown Evansville. Innovation Pointe drives high-tech and small business growth activity for the region. The facility is home to Evansville’s first cowork space; Cowork Evansville, as well as it’s adjacent makerspace,; MAKE IT Evansville, and offers free small business resources through the SBDC on-site.
Launched by the Growth Alliance in October of 2018, Cowork Evansville offers an affordable escape from your home office or coffee chain. The greatest benefit of Cowork Evansville – according to our members: The collection of like-minded creatives, independent workers, freelancers, startups and small business owners blended together in a collaborative and supportive environment. Launched by the Growth Alliance in late 2019, MAKE IT Evansville provides hands-on training, guided instruction and mentorship from a diverse group of volunteer experts. Students and their families are further exposed to and challenged by real-world STEM applications. Focused on purposeful and collaborative innovation and partnered with USI and NSWC Crane, the Growth Alliance supports, and hosts activities designed to connect, inspire, and teach our community.
The Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville was created in early 2007 as a public-private non-profit partnership through the concerted efforts of government, business and higher education. We provide support to new and existing businesses to enhance the overall economic vitality of the City of Evansville and Vanderburgh County, Indiana.
The Growth Alliance’s entrepreneurial support, business expansion assistance and quality of place efforts are possible through of a growing number of community changemakers and supporters.
